Best Luxury Hotels In Cam Ranh

During the Vietnam War, Cam Ranh Bay in the Khanh Hoa Province was used as a military base by both the United States and South Vietnam, thanks to its strategic location. It later served as a major Soviet naval base during the Cold War. More recently it’s arisen as a beach resort with its temples, markets and traditional Vietnamese villages also charming tourists. The dry season (January to August) is the most popular time to visit, as the weather is sunny and pleasant, conducive to watersports and a little island hopping.

Curved lines dominate the architecture at this beachfront resort. Many of the villas also take cues from the Vietnamese non-la conical hat, topped with circular thatched roofs (all have garden or sea views and private plunge pools too). Indoors, everything is airy, with a contemporary barefoot chic vibe and features like bamboo canopies containing cloud-like bed drapes. Guests can eat and drink at the Ana Beach House, Ana Sand House and the Sunken Pool Bar, swim in the lagoon-like pool and enjoy treatments at the spa, which make use of Om Fountain massage oils.
