“Che bello!” doesn’t even begin to cover quite how beautiful and frankly, awesome, the Dolomites are. If endurance skiing is more your bag, the celebrated Sella Ronda 25-mile circular tour (16 miles of skiing) takes in four mountain passes, a host of towns and villages and tree-lined slopes. While the Sella Ronda can be achieved in a day, the second tour, Giro Della Grande Guerra, at around 80km, is best tackled over 2 days. This tour is jam-packed with historical landmarks and even includes a horse-drawn ski lift to the Armentarola ski lift in the Alta Badia area.
One of the key advantages on offer is the Dolomiti Superski lift pass that covers 450 ski lifts connecting 12 ski areas within the region.
