Eagle Brae is a luxurious log cabin village tucked away in a beautiful hillside setting amongst gorgeous glens and dramatic Munros in Inverness-shire. At Eagle Brae you feel at one with nature because of the incredible location but are able to enjoy all the comforts of home plus some delightful luxury extras in their uber-luxe cabins. Each cabin is truly a work of art – the rustic theme runs from outside in with cedar wood fixtures, hand-woven textiles and intricately carved balconies. All the giant red cedar logs used are sustainably sourced from British Colombia, whilst the cabins boast grass insulated roofs and eco-friendly wood burners. The Old Mill on the Spey, Boat of Garten

This fascinating property was once an 18th century mill and is located right on the banks of the River Spey. Originally built as a corn mill in 1720 the property has been lovingly modernized to create a contemporary luxury lodging for up to 14 people right in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. Original features of the building’s former life are still present throughout combining with a boutique interior – you can even see the inner workings of the water wheel from a screened area in the master bedroom! The property is resplendent with a hot tub, perfect for enjoying the dramatic surrounding landscapes, whilst the outdoor decking area means you will spend as much time outside as in. Décor throughout is alpine-chic with plenty of social areas and space for the whole gang! The icing on the cake is definitely the Fisherman’s bothy overlooking the Spey and complete with wood burning stove – the ideal spot for a cozy dram or two before bed!

Ardmair Bay House, Ullapool

Ullapool has long been a destination for those looking for wow-factor surroundings in Scotland and this property takes full advantage of it’s incredible outlook. This modern, purpose-built home is ideal for those looking for the luxuries of a boutique hotel but with the relaxation and flexibility of a holiday home. The White Tower, Kenmore, Perthshire

This property allows you the chance to stay in an ivory tower and we don’t mean a metaphorical one! The White Tower of Taymouth Castle is a charming tower located on the Taymouth Castle estate in a romantic setting near Loch Tay. Easily reachable and yet private, the tower is located near Kenmore in Perthshire, an area full of lochs, rivers, trees, hills and glens – ideal for the outdoors enthusiasts! The building itself is ancient and shrouded in history but is fitted out with modern comforts offering a lovely slice of Scottish luxury. The property is somewhat unique in its set up and whilst isn’t the most accessible of properties, its uniqueness adds to the charm! The master suite for instance is across two floors and has its own en-suite bathroom and stairs to a romantic roof terrace complete with a hot tub and breathtaking views of Loch Tay and the castle! Other features include a utility area (perfect for after outdoor pursuits) a sauna and a lounge with a lovely wood burning stove. The property sleeps up to four although we would recommend for a special romantic break for two!
