Moët & Chandon has been a go-to champagne for international tastemakers and the icon of every celebration for centuries. Established in 1743 by Claude Moët, a pioneer and visionary of his time who dreamed of sharing the magic of Moët with the world – his spirit of generosity and savoir-faire was infectious. Over 279 years later, Moët and Chandon is opening its doors with a permanent space in Europe, magnificently designed for unforgettable experiences at Harrods.
The centrepiece is a dramatic, hand-sculpted, gold sweeping chandelier set around the intimate 34-seated bar. The bar will offer a full selection of Moët & Chandon wines, from the iconic Moët Impérial and extroverted Rosé Impérial, to the innovative Ice Impérial. All will be served in a range of formats, from by the glass, to magnum. And, knowing Moët & Chandon guests can be sure to enjoy service with grandeur and special ‘Moët O’clock’ moments. To accompany each glass, there will be decadent and delicious food pairings, both savoury and sweet, created by Harrods specialist team of in-house chefs. There will be fresh seafood favourites, as well as a fine selection of pastries that look tempting to the eye.
Sybarite, an architectural design studio, is behind the new bar. The space will be modern and sleek, with design elements inspired by the Maison’s heritage. The focal point of the bar will be a glowing, organic-shaped counter that embodies the linearity of the Epernay Champagne region’s terrain.
The new bar will open from Tuesday 28 June 2022 at Harrods, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7XL Opening Hours: Monday – Saturday: 10am – 9pm / Sunday: 12pm – 6
